Tooth WhiteningDr. Ross’s office uses an in-office tooth whitening procedure called “gel plasma light bleaching.” The high-powered combination of strong bleaching agents and focused light wavelengths, administered by a trained professional, mean a faster, safer process for the patient. After applying protective film to the mouth and gums, the bleaching gel is painted onto the teeth. The plasma light, which emits a specific wavelength to catalyze the bleaching gel, is directed at the teeth. This gel is reapplied and catalyzed three to six times in the course of an hour. For many patients, this gets the teeth to the desired whiteness – one visit, one hour.
